probably your best yet

I really like your work, and I'd say this is your best yet. Its not the best song you've used (I do like it though), but its definitely your best animation. As always, great work

Everything was VASTLY improved since the last episode was released, and I'm really excited to see you releasing more hyperboy episodes. Just promise us that we won't have to wait anther year for the next episode.

Gonna agree with VidGameDude

It reminded me a lot of FLCL (aka Fooly Cooly) and it was highly entertaining. Some of the most original animating and story ideas I've seen on the portal in a long time and I hope you do make good on that "To be continued" at the end. Nice choice of music to boot.

i own FLCL on dvd! and a lot of people have said it reminds them of it. I absolutely love that cartoon. i think i was subconsciously inspired by that series.

Destined to become the next big thing

Good voice acting, great action, amazing animation. Granted I'd like if the plot made a bit more sense (I've only seen the videos so I probably sound like an idiot), but this is coming together as one of the best things I've seen on newgrounds. Continue to be amazing and best of luck on keeping this series fresh.

Awesome work

I've done some stop motion stuff myself (though not for Newgrounds) and this is some quality stuff. The laser effects were impressive (probably not hard to put in using flash though I suppose). I loved the concept and ending. My only question is if you used any stop motion programs for this (example: istopmotion) because the animation is very smooth in some spots, then more jittery in others so its very hard to tell wether or not you just used a digital camera and moved everything a bit and hoped for the best.

Overall job very well done.

never seem to get old. Great flash and funny, if unoriginal, concept. Loved the fact that the mom had probably seen dark dungeons.

good way to celebrate a new year

looking back on old things and what you've accomplished in the year previous is a good way to get started on 09. Btw lots of variety in your artwork, love it! Can't feel like giving a 10 simply because its a compilation of old work thrown together into one video but its a nice compilation to be fair.
