10 for originality

I'm sure other games have done the transformation gimmick before, but I certainly haven't come across them. Absolutely loved it from an artistic and puzzle perspective. If you could expand on the puzzles that could be had with the Illusionist's magic and make the platforming a little more responsive and tighter (I found myself over jumping platforms occasionally) I could easily see this as a XBLA title that'd I'd pay for.

Kudos

Once you figure the trick out its perfect

This game was fantastic once I figured it out, I'm docking points for lack of a proper tutorial of any sort but once you figure it out its sheer briliance

An early choice for game of the year?

This is an interesting game, you didn't really put anything new into the gameplay, its basically a "survive by destroying your enemies" side scrolling game. But its a very well polished one. The mechanic of deflecting attacks with your tail is a nice touch that adds a load of entertainment to the gameplay. The music is catchy and adds to the whimsical and almost sing-song attitude of the game. The art is just stunning, its smooth and unique, not something you see often, particularly in a flash game. The cut scenes (for lack of a better word) between levels are funny, also well animated and add to the experience.

While this game may not push any new boundaries in gameplay it creates its own wonderfully fun niche with its art style and humor.

My vote for game of the year

If it were my call, this is the one. You took one of the most original and ahead of its time shooters, and beefed it up tremendously. Hard to beat the original as is. You took this one to a whole new level, customized upgrades, ridiculously large enemies, a good variety of things to blow up. This game was great.

AWESOME!!!!!

wow, its a cool and amazing game concept to begin with, but this is amazing. Its so cool to have one of my songs in here too (darn shame its so freaking hard though). Great game from a great pair of developers, ROCK ON!

Addictive but..

It got repetitive. It's great, the fact that your improvements are actually noticeable and impact the game is great, I like the idea of whatever attack you use is the one that improves, but it seemed somewhat limited because it only improved when you kill a portal. That said, the game is great, a nice art style and arena mode add to the gameplay a lot. I would have liked a more inspired soundtrack, it just seemed dull even though your character is slinging spells at giant monsters.

Overall a nice expiriance worth the time, but you have to patient before the good abiities open up

Fun but....

It's cool and its a lot better than your old ones but Madagascar just couldn't be invaded. Go figure

fun and clean entertainment

my only complaint here is that the first part had me stuck for a little while because the gum and ruler combo wasnt working when I tried it on the airvent the first time. I apparently wasn't hitting the right spot. Everything else was a blast. The monkey doll scared me a bit though.... X (

wow

all was good. Art style, music synched, addictiveness. Rock on man.

I liked it

It's short, you just took the part that actually had the cannons (this song actually uses cannons, really!) but I liked it. I almost just wanted to watch the poor guy get shot at, which would make for a fantastic video. Never would have imagined to see a game like this, nice job
